I love coffee. I need coffee. Especially in the morning. (Just ask Jarrod or the people I work with). So, anything that makes getting it brewed and in my system a little faster and easier, is a good thing!! Here some of my daily necessities that help make getting my morning Cup O’ Joe a little easier.
I have a Keurig, which is a one cup brewing system. Jarrod bought it for me for Mother’s Day last year, and it has been one of the best gifts I have ever received! I loved it so much I bought my dad one for Christmas this year and will probably be a future gift of choice for coffee lovers and newlyweds! I love it because the coffee is always so fresh tasting, and I can make a cup of coffee in 30 seconds flat! I like that you don’t have to make a whole pot of coffee, and there is NO POT TO CLEAN!! I also love that you can get the K-Cups in any flavor of coffee, tea and hot cocoa and you don’t have to worry about using it all before it goes bad! Here in J town you can get K-Cups at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, Kohls and JCP. Walmart carries a few brands and are getting more everyday, also. If you look at the Keurig website there are sooo many choices! I love to browse when I have time. You do have to purchase them in a box of 18. Which is somewhat of a downer if you want to try something new and then end up not liking it. Which made me think of a new store idea! I think there needs to be a K-cup store, like a candy store all the K-cups would be sold individually or you could buy a 6 pack or a 12 pack, and then pick the 6 or 12 from all the different varieties to create your own pack. Wouldn’t that be awesome?? Hmmm. . . . maybe I should keep this quiet, just wait before long you will see this in your local mall and someone will have stole my idea!! Ha-ha.
This is bad for the environment, I know. But I love these Dixie Grab N’ Go disposable coffee cups. I make (usually my 2nd cup) coffee and drink it on the way to work and at work and then don’t have to wash a travel mug and remember to take it back home with me. I wish I was better about that but the 10 travel mugs that have taken up residence in the cup cabinet in the kitchen at work are evidence that I have too much on my mind at 5pm (like getting home!) to remember to grab my mug before flying out the door! These are less than $3 for a pack of 14 with lids! You can’t beat that! And if you have the storage space (which we do not) you can buy an even bigger pack of them at Sam’s Club for like $10!
That’s my easy tip for today. For you non coffee drinkers, sorry that today’s post was a let down but maybe you should revisit coffee- you don’t know what you’re missing!!
