We had a rough start to the Thanksgiving “break”. With two sick kids I was worried, but by Thursday both were feeling much better. I ended up taking A back to the doctor on Wednesday and they put her on a antibiotic since her ears were a little red and we didn’t want to chance it getting worse over the holiday. I’ve had the crud, but thought I could deal with it. Well, after a busy weekend I was miserable by Saturday night. So Sunday morning I got up and went to the urgent care clinic and sure enough, I just have a nasty sinus infection. Now me and all three kids are on antibiotics! Hopefully we will all be better soon! We are too busy to be sick. . .I think I’ve said that before??
We went to HR late Wednesday night so Jarrod could get up and duck hunt on Thursday morning. We had lunch with the Wilson side of the family at my grandma and grandpa’s house. Stratton and his cousin Wilson played and played! So glad we got to spend time with my family. Then after eating and eating and eating some more we left and headed to Searcy. We ended up not doing the big Thanksgiving we had planned, since one of Jarrod’s cousin’s kids came down with strep. We just enjoyed some time with Jarrod’s parents and Jennifer, Daniel and Archer. And you would think the way Stratton played earlier in the day he would be out of energy, on the contrary. He and Archer were full of it! They were like little monkeys! We stayed the night in Searcy Thursday night, and we came back Friday afternoon leaving Stratton to spend a couple days with Nan and Pa by himself! He and Archer got to play together a lot over the weekend!
Arden all dressed up for Thanksgiving!
We tried to have my mom take some family pictures. . . .
. . .it turned out SO well. . .
We even took the dog on our Thanksgiving trip.
No surprise, Arden was the center of attention. She got passed around a lot!
At Nan and Pa’s having ice cream with Pa
Arden discovered her feet this past week!
Archer wasn’t too sure of sharing his daddy.
Archer, Arden and Stratton
MONKEYS!!
We tried & tried & tried to get a good pic of them together. This was the best one!
Sweet girl : )
While S was in Searcy he ran into Santa! He didn’t sit in his lap BUT he did touch him! That’s progress from last year!

You and 3 kids?? Is there something you aren't telling us!!HA! Love the attempt at the family pictures. You should use them as your christmas card!!!!
Arden looks like a tiny baby doll in her Daddy's lap!! I like the one of the cousins, they're all looking at the camera at least! Better than what we got over Thanksgiving!
Laura, In my head I'm sure I was thinking the three of us are on meds. . .you know what I meant!
Kristen thanks. I seriously took about 50 pics of the three grand kids and they were just too crazy to sit still and cooperate. I can't imagine trying it with more than three!
Oh my I gave up on pics a long time ago!! This year for cards I took individual pics instead! Ha!
